Garden Re-Leaf Day 2021
As you may know I sit of the Board of Greenfingers (greenfingerscharity.org.
Sporting a t-shirt with that famous hand print, we set about delivering garden design consults and garden blitz’s, in return for a donation to Greenfingers.
It was truly fabulous that not only did we raise over £5000, but now hear that the day is being rolled out as a case study to inspire other designers and contractors to join in the next Garden Re-leaf day on Friday 18th March 2022.
Charity Plant Sale
During lockdown #1 when garden centres were shut, we sold 100 selection boxes of cut flowers and veg plants, grown by us, so that people could easily embrace the concept of ‘Growing your own’. Over £2500 was raised for Berkshire Womens Aid, (BWA) Oxfam, and Medical Aid for Palestinians.
To celebrate our 25th anniversary we ran another charity plant sale in May 2021. We raised over £2500, with all proceeds going to BWA.
