Perspective of a Garden Designer

“This project was a particularly meaningful one, created for a client wishing to honour his late wife.

He described her as bold, strong and energetic, with a deep love of the formal gardens of Villandry and Kensington Palace. Inspired by her spirit, the final design centres on three reflection pools – one rectangular and two circular – edged with beautiful bespoke limestone coping stones.

Formal beds frame the pools planted with a simple, elegant palette of Salvias, Nepeta, low Osmanthus hedging and spires of tall Beech columns. To bring the vision to life, we partnered with Rob and his team at The Garden Design Company, which whom we’ve worked on multiple projects and whose craftsmanship
and attention to detail never fail to impress.”
