Originally created by us five years ago, and recently reimagined by designer Jo Alderson Phillips, we specified, sourced and planted stunning specimen topiary pieces, underplanted with a beautiful planting scheme designed in-house by Sophie Green. Porous resin-bound paths lead you around the garden, with the specimen yews we planted five years ago retained as mature anchors. A two-metre-wide overflowing water feature forms the centrepiece of a new limestone terrace, complete with bespoke gazebo.

A garden on an epic scale, we are thrilled with the result. And yes, that is a life-sized gorilla.
