wanted: Landscaping Foreman

A bit about you:
To be successful in this role you will have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be able to lead, organise and motivate your team to deliver high end gardens for our clients in the Thames Valley and the surrounding areas.
You will have a keen eye for detail and a proven track record in all aspects of landscape construction as well as leading high-end residential landscaping projects from project start to client sign off.
You will have excellent commination skills and a professional and approachable manner. You will be flexible, hardworking and enjoy the challenge that comes with working within an award winning company, where reputation is key.

Key Requirements:
- Ability to lead and manage residential landscaping projects on time and on budget
- 3+ years experience of leading a landscaping team of 2-3+ landscapers on site
- Understand design drawings and set out sites and levels
- Plan, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Ability to problem solve
- Ensure you and your team adhere to H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE
- Experience of using Plant Machinery safely
- Excellent knowledge of laying all types of paving, setts and stone
- Experience in blockwork, brickwork and retaining walls
- Excellence in constructing decking, fencing and timber structures
- Knowledge of shrub and tree planting, including specimen planting
- Turfing and seeding

- Relevant experience in working on building/landscaping sites
- Assist the team with various labouring tasks including in mixing cement, digging, lifting and carrying, cutting (stone and timber), ground preparation, bed preparation, painting, planting and mulching
- Under direction and over a period of time to become proficient at laying paving and setts, blockwork, construction of fencing, turfing and seeding.
- Basic principles of horticulture
- Willingness to learn
- Compliant with H&S guidelines and wear correct PPE
- Experience of using Plant Machinery safely
