The garden was blessed with several brick boundary walls and some stunning ash and lime trees beyond. However grey and pink slabs and a derelict shed dominated the space. With a stunning extension to the property designed by ashtonarchitecture.co.uk, the outdoor space was transformed to match by Georgia Tranter, our paid Landscape Architect Intern student.Gabion cages were used to create seating areas and filled with the broken pink and grey slabs, so that muck away and material to landfill was minimised. Dressed with two stunning slabs of live edge Red Cedar from the New Forest, the gabions are in turn planted with houseleeks and Erigeron. An outdoor kitchen from Ikea, a raised corten veg bed and a micro meadow from Pictorial Meadows surrounded by stunning porcelain paving, whilst low energy LED lighting means you can enjoy the garden whatever the weather.P.S. Thanks Son for allowing us to experiment with your first garden!4"
